Born and based in Northeast Ohio, my photographic practice is deeply rooted in a lifelong passion for the outdoors and exploration. Through both film and digital documentary photography, I aim to capture the intricate relationship between the natural world and humanity, examining its enduring beauty as well as the impacts of our presence. My work is an ongoing investigation into the remnants of human endeavors – from ancient ruins to contemporary structures – and how these landscapes, alongside personal expressions of devotion, pride, and patriotism, shape our environment and our understanding of it. I am particularly drawn to themes of decay, the enduring power of nature, and the ways in which we leave our mark on the world.
